I had to look into this, because I thought this was a great question! Kinetic sand is made of mostly sand, and little bit of something that is like silly putty. The silly putty is the part that holds it together so you can mold it and build with it. I read that you can make your own kinetic sand, maybe I will have to try that. I like your description of it working like a magnet....maybe we should have a magnet station in enrichment too!
