Media Literacy in Grade 4
Students in fourth grade enrichment library are expanding their critical thinking skills by investigating media literacy. We are currently spending time thinking about advertisements and how this information media influences our thoughts. After exploring advertisement examples and strategies we moved on to creating our own advertisements. In future blog posts we will share the media creations....which are still a work in progress! Today I wanted to share the great teamwork and focus that students are using as they create. Student engagement is high and the production process is both fun and creative.
