The Never Bored Board

This year in enrichment I am introducing a new method for students to make sure that they are always actively engaged in the process of learning.  Over the next few weeks we will review a variety of things that students can always do when they are finished with their tasks.  This week we began practicing the Read and Write options. Students had a chance to read in the classroom library. Students also learned about our classroom "Please Write in This Book" notebooks.  Students will be able to share stories, facts, ideas and pictures and then pass the book on for the next person to add to their ideas!  I am excited to see what great things students will create.  I also love the idea that these books will be shared across grades so that we can build school community writing connections.
